do rankings matter?

I’m a Pnm who wanted to rush frats next semester and i recently been hearing a lot about this site. After looking at this site briefly, I was wondering what are these rankings based off and do they hold significance? Is there a huge difference between top, middle or bottom tier?

all frats are the same pretty much its just some got a better rep and social with higher tier sororities

higher tier sororities has more hot girls but tend to be more stuck up

Every fraternity has their pros and cons. Tiers only kind of play a part in who socials with who, but other than that it doesn’t matter. I joined a “mid tier” where I felt I fit in better as opposed to a top house and have loved every second of it. If you join where u fit best you can’t go wrong. If you join for other reasons, you may not like it as much as you thought. And somo is social probation that means you can’t have socials for a certain time period.

Thank you for sharing your perspective, all I’ve been hearing lately is how everyone wants to join a top sorority or frat, after hearing ur experience I willl be more open minded when I rush
