greek life sucks

How can something super exclusive be too small? Overall, I disagree, I think people think too highly of other school's greek life, UMD is middle of the pack like most schools. If you don't like it you might be in the wrong organization or it isn't for you.

ok, i just want to start by saying greek life at umd is actually pretty good, its a lot better than most schools, even if it isnt one of the best in the country.

umd's problem is that a lot of maryland high schoolers go out of state, like penn state or vtech. this means that a lot of people that come to umd dont rush, which is fine, but puts a limit on how selective and big greek life is here. at the end of the day, interest is what is stopping umd from having greek life on par with penn state, fsu, texas, other schools down south. there just isnt the elitism and tradition, and i hate to say it, hot girls that could put umd on that tier. we party in dungy ass basements and go to bents when other school have massive houses and wild parties. theres alot more i could say, but i dont care enough to post about it here
