stop acting brand new cuz of recruitment lol
by: um hypocrite much?
not sure why all you girls in sororities are acting brand new just because we are mid recruitment.
yes i am a pnm, but most of us have been observing you all for much longer than just the past few days of recruitment. its actually comical how you all randomly have begun backing each other up and putting on some type of front on here where you all support each other and just can't bare to see pnms say something negative about another sorority. theres been a sudden surge of posts on here lecturing pnms to stop worrying about ranks/tiers, and to stop saying negative things about various sororities, but meanwhile, thats all you sorority "women" used this site for prior to recruitment? i have been reading this site since i arrived on campus in august, and never saw positive posts from you all complimenting other sororities. you don't get to use this site from august-december to tear each other down, and then come january, act like you're all one big happy family. you all are equally as bad, you set the tone for recruitment and the behavior standards for pnms. we are looking up to you guys, so lead by example... if you dont want pnms to care about tiers, maybe stop with the constantly ranks and gossip? if you guys didn't promote and prioritize ranks so much, pnms wouldn't be so disappointed to not get a "top" house back. no pnm has said anything on here recently that hasnt been said here before by current greeks.
if you want to make a change in the greek community, it starts with you. this whole debacle just goes to show that people are watching and mimicking your every move, so watch what you say, do, and post. as sorority sisters, you should know pnms are looking up to you, even before recruitment begins. don't be upset that pnms are copying your behavior, be ashamed that this is the social norm you have enabled. if you don't like what youre seeing from pnms, you should probably look within and look at your fellow sorority sisters and realize that this is the monster you all have created. if you want to see a change, you guys are the ones that have make that change.
it will be interesting to see if once recruitment is over, you all stop with the posts on here where you rank sororities and talk badly about each other. i highly doubt it.

No, the sororities don't actually like each other lol. They all compete with each other and will continue to do so. The ranks and negativity will continue as well. Girls in sororities feel totally fine bashing other sororities and enabling the tier structure as long as it benefits them. The fact that they are so angry that they are being criticized by PNMs just goes to show how they really do think they are better than everyone else. They can't take being criticized by someone like a PNM who isn't even in a sorority yet and therefore isn't on their level.

There are consistently people on here asking the PNMs to not come on this site and defending the Sororities. It's been way before you started here and it will continue after because there will always be negative people. Then you have people responding saying well "this is Greek rank" and ranking is what it's for. You have people under the anonymity of the internet posting hateful things, you bet people are going to respond, but only so much can be done. People like myself who do believe we are a community can't be on this site day in and day out patrolling it, commenting, and reporting posts. I can tell you that the majority of people do believe we are a community and it's the people in leadership positions that see it that way. I don't know who you are talking to that are current Greeks but all I can say is consider the source and since you are an adult, you need to decide who you look up to, don't just blindly follow because they are the loudest. Also, just because it's written on this site doesn't make it true.
