im honestly really nervous to start recruitment for a sorority soon. im worried that if i dont get one of the top tiers (alpha phi, theta, kd, or tri delt) that im just going to be unhappy. can someone give me advice on how to be happy with whatever house i get?

By going in with an open mind. There are so many sororities for a reason- because so many girls want to find a home! Being top tier at the end of the day really doesn't matter- and if they drop you then do you really want to be in sorority surrounded by girls that didn't like you for you anyway? Give all the houses a chance and you will see that all chapters have amazing, beautiful women in them

You have to first ask yourself why you like any of those sorororities. If it is because you were told they are the best, then you are doing it all wrong. Everyone thinks their Sorority is the best and honestly they all have something positive to offer. You need to get it out of your head about what you think you want and where you think you belong. Go through Recruitment and be open to anything. Then you will be happy.

Honestly, you won't be happy if you aren't a secure enough person to realize that you aren't less than if you don't get into what you perceive as a top tier house. No one can tell you how to be happy.

This post makes me really sad for people that feel this way.....

If you are asking this question I'm guessing you probably won't be getting into one of these Sorororities. if you judge your happiness on whether you get into one of them, there are bigger problems you need to worry about
