sororities that party the least

by: Rush

I'm a freshman and I'm trying to decide whether I should rush or not. I'm not a partier and I know that most sorority girls are. I'm not a huge fan of going to frat parties and tailgates. However, I love the whole sisterhood aspect of sororities and I want to make friends for life. So, are there any sororities that don't really party? If so, which ones?

I wouldn't necessarily say there are any sorororities that don't party, but there are definitely groups of people in all Sororities that don't party or maybe even drink. All Sororities have social schedules. You can go to socials and not drink. There are also many activities that don't involve drinking at all. I'm in a Sorority and there are definitely people that don't go to frat parties or tailgates, those people just focus their involvement on other aspects of the Sisterhood. Honestly partying and drinking are not the biggest aspects of a Sorority and I would say if that's all someone is looking for, they shouldn't rush.

I don’t know why you would assume any one sorority doesn’t party when you probably don’t even know any of them

∆∆ This is why you need to get off of this site and just go through Recruitment. You will be fine as long as you keep an open mind.

There are people in every sorority that party and there are people who don’t. No matter what, sorority life isn’t entirely about partying and there is a lot of other stuff to do, so just go through recruitment and find who you think you’d fit in with and get along with. No matter where you end up, you shouldn’t ever feel pressured to go out if you don’t want to, and wherever you end up you’ll find someone that wants to do something fun with you
