question about ranks

I wanted to rush a fraternity next semester and I was wondering if these ranks hold any meaning? Do some fraternity members disregard other sorority/frats simply because they’re not that high up? I saw one list that had 4000 views on it and was wondering if that this ranking stuff really does hold weight
