what do the numbers near the tiers mean?
by: WonderingEach fraternity tier I see numbered listings and I was wondering what does it mean to be in tier 2,3,4 etc. does it mean top upper mid?

So sig nu pairs with lambda or delta sig for joint parties?(based off the tiers I have seen?)

No. 1st of all, delta sig isn't on the same tier as lambda, sig nu, etc., they need some more work done. 2nd, sig nu would generally reach out to that tier and above for jointing, and vice versa.

Oh alright, my bad about that I just thought delta sig would be there since i saw it in that tier. Are fraternities in tier 3 and above usually much more selective when choosing new members? Do

Yes, they are more selective because more guys rush those frats
Here's a breakdown:
1. Fiji > KA = AEPi
2. Sig Chi = ATO = Phi Delt
3. TEP = PIKE = Zeta Psi
4. Lambda = Sig Nu
5. Delta Sig = ADPhi > Alpha Sig > PSK
6. Phi Tau, Phi Psi, Sig Ep, ZBT, Theta Chi
7. Beta, SAE, SAM, DU, Chi Phi

Thanks for the breakdown. I always thought sig nu and lambda were in 3 and TEP were In 2 since and phi delt in 1 since that’s what I always saw in every tier. My last question I was wondering if how much they helped (through community service, philanthropy etc) also play a factor In their rank or is it based off something Else? Do you know if Some fraternities are looking for certain GPA?
