probationary recognition
by: GiggabyteI went to the Greeksite on UMD and it saw the fraternities that are on probationary recognition, does this mean that they’re restricted from doing certain things? Will them being on restriction not allow new students to rush them?

It depends on what they got on probation for. Sometimes they just forgot a requirement and it's there as a warning and they have to do some type of presentation and other times there are actual social consequences. Like PSK had all of their social events this semester I think, but ATO couldn't do anything social until the middle of the semester.

Thanks for explaining it. Would you happen to know which fraternities are on somo or more likely to be suspended?
