quick question on bids

by: Uyte

Is there a limit on how many bids a fraternity can give out? Is a person less likely to get a bid from a fraternity when more people rush that one?

There’s no limit on the size of a pledge class a frat can take. The ease of getting a bid however varies. some will give out bids to anyone and some are very selective and only take a certain number of kids that they either all agree upon or know already

Will it be harder to possibly get into a fraternity if you know absolutely no one ? Would you recommend just rushing fraternities that you people are in?

Depends on the frat. Most have a target number of how many bids they want to give out.

What’s considered a good class size?
