not sure if i want to rush a sorority

Okay. I'm trying to decide whether to rush, so if anyone could answer this question I would really appreciate it.
What is your favorite thing you did with your sorority during Fall semester? I already know you guys do tailgates and parties. I want to know about actual things you guys do. I don't need to know sorority names or whatever. I just want to know what's out there for me beyond partying and if it's worth it to join.

It's so worth it. My favorite thing is just spending time together with my sisters, whether it be going on coffee dates, shopping, TerpThon, or just watching TV at the Sorority house. Don't let the bickering on this site about bs tiers (yes it's all bs) discourage you. I'm in what everyone on here considers a "bottom" tier Sorority and I couldn't be happier. Our Sisterhood is extremely close and I wouldnt want it any other way. In my eyes we are the best and honestly it's not worth fighting over. What tier and what frat you hang out with is not what it's all about and if you get that, you will be amuch happier person

Couldn't have said it better! I'm in what people consider a bottom-tier sorority as well and I love my sisters. They accept me for who I am and that is one of the biggest reasons I love them so much. I didn't join a sorority to get some sort of seal of approval by frat guys, I joined to find a home away from home and that's exactly what I found.

honestly one of the things i love about being in a sorority is that you could hear someone crying in their room in the house and everyone will immediately knock on the door to check on them and when someone is excited and has good news everyone is there to congratulate them for it. There is always someone there to get food with or have a movie night. Also I have never felt more empowered as a women then living in a sorority house cause you jus realize all the incredible things other girls do and they make you better.when i first got into my sorority I was on the fence and i felt that way for a little, but now I am telling you it was the best decision I have made my entire college career. I am such a better person because of it.
