Anyone else see that opinion piece in the Diamondback?
Opinion: Greek life is too toxic to remain at universities.

Someone in the Greek Community who is smart and well articulated (no one who will read this comment probably lol) should either email this snowflake and ask him to debate the merits of Greek Life publicly, OR email the DBK editors and ask to publicly respond in an OP-ED piece defending Greek Life.

Any rational person in Greek life understands that the author is correct. We are part of a broken system that no one individual can or will fix. It's a system that tortures pledges to join a glorified drinking club, looks down upon those who choose not to join us, and propagates the worst of gender roles in both men and women. If you want someone to argue in behalf of our system, let's make our system worth arguing for.
It doesn't matter how articulate you are. You can't argue against the author's sound logic, because he states facts. The only response is to bring up all the good Greek life does, like philanthropy. But the issue is that the good Greek life does still doesn't erase the bad. Something can be overall bad but still have redeeming qualities.
