Would you guys say that UMD's recruitment is competitive?

Idk about frats but sorority definitely is. Many girls get dropped from every house or almost all. The process is honestly set up to make girls feel bad about themselves. There were so many girls crying after they got their lists back everyday it was so sad.

But if you think about you only have to join one chapter so in the end, it doesn't matter how many you get dropped from as long as you have one the you mesh with well

I would say it helps if you have connections. if you keep an open mind to ALL 16 sororities you will get a bid from one. if you judge lower tier sororities than yes it is competitive by the top tier.
