how much can a pledge class raise a sorority? like how much good or bad can one pledge class be to their sorority in terms of ranking

Last year you would have thought Trydelts pledge class was the epitome of pledge classes.....then we found out how stupid the sisters are. LOWEST GPA OF ALL THE SORORITIES!!!!!!

No one can give you an answer on this. So many hypotheticals.
If you're asking because you only got "lower" houses back, the sorority doesn't make the girls the girls make the sorority.

it wont raise certain soroities like adpi, sk, sdt, but middle ones and gphi and some top could change for sure

A decent pledge class can raise a sorority like 20 points. A really good one can do upwards of 50

oh please, some of you previous posters have way too little faith in this website. literally go to posts this time last year and you will not only see "2016 pledge class ranks" but also like a week from then "new 2016 rankings (after rush)." dont even try to bs. to OP: its really dif this year based on the number of people that rushed. the pledge classes will be bigger so there will definitely be a wider variety of girls. essentially: you'll just have to wait and see....and trust me, you WILL hear about it.

Yes, yes, yes! This time last year on the posts it was all about ranking the pledge classes... and the year before...and the year before!!!!! A time honored tradition at UMD that will continue ad nausea. Next week should be spectacular......

If you are talking about participation and sisterhood, then yes a really great pledge class could boost a chapter just like getting negative people and those that don't want to help with anything could hurt a chapter.

Unfortunately the only thing on this site you will see people making their rankings based on are looks and the ones doing that are not people you want to listen to. Just remember that.
