transfer student-kinda-rushing sorority

Hey! I'll be a sophomore going into rush week. But I took a class at UMD (only one) so I got a B- which is a 2.7 here at UMD. My other classes haven't transferred over yet but they are processing now. my UMD GPA right now is a 2.7 which is solely based on that one class. Should I still rush? Will I have a good chance at getting into a good house or no..

You turn in your transcript from your last school typically and then just explain it to the girl youre talking to if it comes up but dont be overly worried

All the houses are pretty much a 2.8 or higher. If your GPA is above that you have a chance of getting into any house.

my gpa is def above a 2.8! i got into UMD with an above 3.00 GPA-but because i took one course at UMD this past semester and got a B- my new GPA only reflects that one course

You should be fine. They should have all that sorted out before Recruitment. Might want to check before though.

You should definitely check to make sure your gpa is correct before Everything starts
