sophomore rush
by: SophI dropped last year because I ended up with a house I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable in. I raised my gpa a lot and I'm a lot more involved. Do I have a good shot at getting a bid? I really want to join a sorority but I don't want to be disappointed like last year

Most of the GPAs requirements are the same so I'm not quite sure how increasing your GPA other then to above a 2.8 will make a huge difference in where you end up. Joining other activities might give you more to talk about, but honestly there is a reason you got a bid where you did.

You should be considering houses that are opening their doors to you. If it were me I wouldn't want to be in a house that cut me.

I agree with the last poster. You shouldn't have to change yourself to fit in. You want to be somewhere where you are accepted, at least I do. Going through again you might get the exact same Chapter. Maybe you need to be a little more open minded about where you end up.
