does gpa matter for guys?

Hey I'm wondering if Frats have a minimum or cutoff GPA? Im rushing spring but my GPA was pretty bad this semester, my overall is a 2.6. Will frats/the school not allow me to rush or be initiated if my GPA is below a certain number?

It really just depends on the fraternity. My friend got into a mid tier frat with a 2.4 but my other friend got rejected from a "lower tier" frat with the same GPA

Rush a lot of places and be honest with them. If they like you its most likely fine, but it varies from frat to frat

just be aware that your gpa will drop when pledging because its so time consuming

If a frat really wants you they'll underground you and put you on the roster once your gpa reaches the minimum.

it depends. some will keep you and put you through pledging but you wont be able to be official in the books. Ask around tho
