rushing

Hii if i am transferring into UMD in the fall as a sophomore from another 4-year university, do I have to spend a semester on campus before going through rush? or can i rush in the fall with everyone?? please help

If you're a guy you can rush as long as you have a 2.7. If you're a girl, they only rush in the spring
