FIJI (frat) during their pledge process introduce kids to this concept of agenting. Agenting is where the pledges essentially become bookies and their job is to recruit other kids to place bets with them and then the agents get paid in proportion to how much the people they brought in gambled. Kids who have graduated from this frat years ago are the ones who run this and make money off of it and that is why it continues on and every pledge class gets introduced to the concept. It opens the floodgates for gambling addictions by introducing the idea to pledges in a positive way and it is portrayed as an easy way to make money instead of what it actually is which is a hook to get the new pledges into gambling so that they place bets themselves and in turn make more money for the higher ups who have graduated and are now running this program. So when Lucca pledged fiji in 2018 they introduced him to agenting and he became a booky taking bets from other people which is how this whole problem started because once Lucca was into the agency he saw gambling as an easy way to make money and started betting himself instead of just taking other people's bets. Which is why when the first incident ended all those Maryland kids sent back the money because they didn't want their money making operation to get blown up by this whole scheme going public. FIJI got kicked off of Maryland's campus in the fall of 2018 before luccas pledge class was formally initiated into the frat so all of the kids in luccas pledge class included joined this other frat sigma nu. The boys who were brothers of fiji weren't allowed to join because the frat was kicked off but lucca and his pledge class were allowed because they were not formally initiated into fiji yet and therefore not fiji brothers so they were allowed to join another organization. So it is my best assumption that this scheme is still going on except now it is going on through sigma nu since fiji got shut down. My son is now is a gambling rehab place, mental facility and never graduated, I am willing to go public with this.

SAM is middle to low tier based on the geeks that are in this fraternity. They are great guys donโt get me wrong, but not the typical โfratโ type.

Top tier guys, they have been raging all summer long. Just gotta hand it to them, I wish my frat kept it together over summers. I don't know much about these guys, but summer parties are a great vibe. Seem like popular guys

These guys are what greek life is meant to be. They are the essence of 'work hard, play hard'. Always have one of the highest GPAs among social fraternities, and they have a lot of brothers who know how to rage

They're nice, approachable, and friendly. I think these are considered the 'nice guys' of the fraternity world, or the 'good guys'. They always have the highest GPA, and the most average college parties. The boys in this frat are all pretty mid, with a few top tier guys.

I see a lot of self-ranks here. I'm in DG, and we have had a few socials with SAMMY this semester. Honestly, they're a lot of fun. The girls in my sorority get very excited to social with frats like KA or ATO, but with SAMMY there is not as much excitement. However, we all decided that the SAMMY socials got much better this semester. Going to get much more involved with them next year, they are on the rise. SAMMMY is one of the sisterhood's favorite fraternities now

Everyone knows who they are, they're nice guys and good men. Respectful, and easygoing. Can't think of a better group to social with. They always look out for the girls.

I was groped almost immediately after getting their and they did not stop after I yelled at them to stop. I had to physically shove him away multiple times
