First of let me say no sorority at LIU really parties. This school has fake Greek life sorta like high school friend groups. These girls don’t like each other and they hide their weird members because I saw on their Instagram only the pretty ones but at their fall fest I saw the rest. The ones who drink get wasted and do trashy stuff. They snitch on each other and send people to standards. Not very involved sisters either.

AXiD is a great sorority filled with very smart girls, with a large amount of them in the honors college. The girls can always be seen spending time together both on and off campus. The majority of them are close with men from TKE, but some are friends with PSK, and a few affiliate themselves with Theta Chi. Regardless of which org you are in, though, these girls love to meet new people and are guaranteed to want to get to know you. They’re also a diverse group of girls with a range of majors from STEM, to musical theater, to education, and range in interests from sports to anime—there’s really not one type of girl in this org but they’re all super chill. Great org with great women!

I know a few girls on campus in SDT, a couple are super nice, a couple are rather fake. At a virtual new member event hosted by the IFC and Panhellenic Association, my brothers and I continued to try striking up conversations with the girls from SDT we were in a breakout room with, who seemed rather unimpressed by us. Overall, most of them are probably nice girls, but there are a couple girls from SDT I won’t speak to due to the relationships they’ve had with past and present members of my fraternity.

TKE’s not perfect, hard to be at a school like LIU, but they’re your best bet for a genuine greek life experience

the girls are super friendly and outgoing!! they are constantly involved in events on campus and raising money for charity. a few girls are in my classes and they’ve always spoken to me

Talking to Theta Chi feels real and not like a sales pitch, like they actually want to know you and not just add you to their roster. I’ve only heard good things about them from others too

Lls they have a lot of drama and they don’t party with anyone but themselves... enrollment has been down for years since they chartered in 2016 so they’ll probably go inactive soon
