Considered probably one of the most stuck up fraternities on campus. As mentioned in a previous comment by someone else, a lot of these members are people who would never even make it past the first cut at a large university. Tend to recruit mainly from the 6 year BA/MD program, so no surprise at all that their average GPA will be highest of all Greek fraternities. Members usually, besides being 6 year BA/MDs, tend to be all white with some exceptions, very affluent, full of themselves, etc.

These guys keep fraternity life alive on this campus. Coming from someone who isn't involved in Greek life, Beta definitely gets he most attention which has been mostly positive as of late.

These guys appear to be douchey but are actually the nicest guys on campus. They have a lot of diverse personalities and maybe one or two bad apples but you'll find them anywhere. Super fun and nice. Love having them around

Beta Theta Pi is the best fraternity on UMKC's campus. I think that the student body is an an unspoken agreement regarding my previous statement. They are above and beyond the other fraternities. I think they've had the highest GPA on campus for like 25 years. They are the most involved and throw the best parties. Their guys are great and you can tell that they know what true brotherhood is, unlike some of the other fraternities.

I've been a student at UMKC for over 2 years now and have friends in fraternities and sororities. Talking to the sororities, there's no doubt that the Betas have the best rep. Yes, there are some idiots, but you're going to find those in any fraternity. SAE is a runner up, but lately their brotherhood has been terrible and people are dropping out of their fraternity all the time. I rarely hear of guys who join Beta and don't stay in for all four years.

As a UMKC student who went through rush, and a partition pledgeship with Beta (I chose to drop due to financial issues), I will say that Greek life as a whole at UMKC is nothing special. However, Beta reigns far supreme over any other UMKC fraternity. Beta draws in almost all of the Six-Year Med students who rush, and in turn, their fraternity consistently posts the highest GPA. Typically the best at intramurals, philanthropy, and are considered affluent among other UMKC students. Solid group
