Greek life at Stockton needs WORK!!!!! Once the work is put into action, more people will want to involve themselves.

This school is underrated in a lot of ways. The Greek community raised over 70,000 last year alone which is great for a school of this size. Parties are definitely not as common or big as they used to be a few years back but hopefully it comes back around. Fun otherwise and you can always find something to do.

Greek life has been on a steady decline since 2013. Greeks are forced to follow conflicting rules in their PRIVETLY owned houses which is bs considering not a single house is technically on campus. In the next couple of years the social aspects of Greek life will cease to exist. It been on steady decline considering I can’t even go out with my friends unless I’m on some na “invite” list enforced by the controlling Greek advisor that’s been put into place. Advisors tries so hard to present Greek life as some friendly community service driven community when it’s nothing but sa publicity stunt to the public. In fact it’s nothing but a facade to present Greeks as “united” and “community driven”. When in reality all the “unity” bs is nothing but a so a lie. In fact it’s a facade.. put into place to cover up the fact Greeks are influenced to throw their peers under the bus in the effort of preserving their reputations and pleasing the demon of Greek advisor.. A facade.. to make you think you actually have the option in choosing an organization when in reality, your choice is made up for you by the Greek leaders which usually leads to a very unfavorable result considering Half of the GDIS are placed into the lower-tier organizations (which are the most deseparate for numbers). That whole “choose where you belong” bs is nothing but false advertisment. The Greeks at this school aren’t United.. they’re the farthest thing from it. The whole stab someone in the back to get where you want to belong mentality gets old after a while. If your considering going out Greek life, just your college experience in any of the ways promised. Just more added paranoia. If you plan on having a praiseworthy college experience filled with positive Greek- related memories I recommend staying as far from Stockton as humanly possible. Save yourself.

This school tries so hard to present Greek life as some friendly community service driven community when it’s nothing but sa publicity stunt to the public. When in reality all the unity bs is nothing but a so called facade.. put into place to cover up the fact that you need to be on some stupid invite list to get into a single party here. A facade.. put into place to cover up the fact that Greeks are influenced to throw their friends under the bus in order to protect their image and please the Controlling Greek advisor.. A facade.. to make you think you have the option to CHOOSE what organization resinates to you the best when in reality, you barely even get a choice because what organization your randomly placed in is unlimaytely up to the Greek leaders of the school which usually leads to a very unfavorable result considering Half of the GDIS are placed into the lower-tier organizations which are the most deseparate for numbers. That whole “choose where you belong” bs is nothing but false advertisment. The Greeks at this school aren’t United.. they’re the farthest thing from it. If you join Greek life, just know Greek life will not enhance your college experience in any of the ways promised. The Greek advisor here does not allow you to have a positive Greek experience. 3 years deep and I can promise you that. If you plan on having a praiseworthy college experience filled with positive Greek related memories I recommend staying as far from Stockton as humanly possible. Save yourself.

Stockton has excellent Greek Life because they raise more money for their philanthropies in the community than any other student organization. They also contribute more community service hours in the community than other organizations on campus. They are to be commended for their community involvement and service. Greek Life organizations are for member’s only. They are exclusive organizations with their own charters, bylaws, cultures, norms, and are nationally recognized. Social functions are by invitation only. Greek Life organizations create a positive environment at various functions to mitigate any potential risks and for brothers and sisters to have fun, engage, and synergize.

overall good greek life for a smaller school and is quickly growing. more and more chapters have been opening up within the past 5 years. lets see how it goes. party scene is good if you know people, something you wouldn't expect at a school like this.

Great houses, great ratio, great looks, great people. Greek Life at Stockton is amazing... except if you're a kappa sigma!

Completely unexpected Greek Life here! A lot of people in Greek Life and you make so many new friends. Nothing better than being a part of Greek Life, especially at SU.

Great Greek life, which would not be expected by an outside view of Stockton!
