Kappa Sigma is one of the average houses on campus. They have a reputation for giving a bid to everyone who shows up to rush week. Their house is poorly maintained and gives off a little bit of a weird vibe, especially during parties. Better options on campus for sure.

I am not sure why people hate on Beta. Beta has arguably the nicest and most genuine guys on campus and are involved with everything from student government and MAC to philanthropy. In addition to strong academics, the people in Beta are incredibly fun to hangout with on weekends. There is a reason that Beta has nearly a 100% bid acceptance rate.

Yeah, Sigma Kappa gets good grades, but that doesn't mean they don't have a good time. I've never met a more inclusive group of girls, so sweet to everyone in campus and not just each other.

Been on probation 8 of the last 10 semesters because their parties aren't safe. They have a terrible house that always has problems. Bad grades. Only relevant because of parties. All the sororities hate them.

Generally known for their successful on-campus philanthropies and having attractive women. However, from what I've heard, sisterhood doesn't hold a candle to the other sororities at Mines.

SAE is a bottom tier house on campus. Their house is almost constantly dirty and they seriously lack in care for academics and campus involvement. I personally know a few alumni of SAE (graduated from Mines) and they were very disappointed with the house and people in it. SAE is nearly constantly on sanctions from IFC for breaking rules during rush, etc. Additionally, SAE is known to have stolen property from other houses such as greek letters and corn-hole boards. There are much better options for greek life here on campus.
