fraternity comments

I find it strange that Kappa Sigma had yet to make it onto this page. They are officially on campus as of this semester.

The fraternity that you want to stay away from is Sigma Chi. If anyone doesn't agree with me just look up some of their latest comments (very controversial) and they have the most comments to be just number 1. I have a lot of friends in the fraternity but they have some major chapter problems because they keep talking complete garbage about other frats and sororities. The way they treat their pledges is wrong, and they only won 1 reward because of sports. I recommend either Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Theta, TKE, Sigma Nu, and Kappa Sig.

Sigma Chi sucks ass. I agree with the guy below. Your best options are Phi Delt, KA, Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi, Beta if you actually want your greek experience to be anything.

Ok so I just wanna make it clear. I'm sick and tired of hearing that greeks at EKU are fratty. YOU ARE NOT!! Go to UK, Georgia, or Alabama, then come back and tell me how frat you are. TFM is the Facebook of SEC schools and you all don't have a clue. I made a trip to EKU not too long ago and my God!! You call yourselves fratty? More like Glorified GDI's, but thats even a compliment. Do the Greek world a favor and STOP CALLING YOURSELVES FRATTY!!

i agree with tellusbrotha...very well said. EKU's greek lif is going to crap with wannabees and never will be's. Get a hold of yourselves!

Well I have to say that i am in a fraternity at eku (hince the name) and where I dont agree with everything tellusbrotha said, i do agree that our greek life is not what is once was. If you look at yearbooks and what it once ways it's easy to see that we used to be top notch. Unfortunatley due to the school we are not able to have houses. I believe that we definetly "want to be" true fraternitiies that get along and have healthy competeition, but as of now we are simply treehouse clubs that play with colors and letters.

This rush SUCKS.. Whoever came up with these rules should go play in traffic. Whoever was in charge of recruitment obviously has a crappy chapter and doesn't want anyone to have a good rush.

Pike, Lambda Chi, and Phi Delt have all been suspended from campus for hazing. Pike is gone until January 2014, Lambda Chi until August 2012, and Phi Delt until August 2013.

Great rush for a few chapters, decent for most, and horrible for the rest. Hopefully after this Spring all the frats on campus will remember the oaths they took to earn/receive their letters.
