I was a TKE pledge a couple years ago, and honestly it’s just not what I thought it would be. During Rush Week, they seemed very kind and genuine, but in my time as a pledge, I was able to really see what they’re all about. I feel like TKE at Centenary is more of a club and not a fraternity. My biggest problem was that the brotherhood was weak. After seeing my two older brothers be in fraternities at different schools, the TKE chapter here just doesn’t compare. I felt as though there were many cliques amongst the fraternity and not one true bond or brotherhood. They also didn’t take much pride in their fraternity. I wanted to be a part of a group who loved their fraternity and brothers as much as I saw my two older brothers love their fraternity. After seeing that the members of TKE just didn’t have this love and pride for their brothers or fraternity, I decided to drop.

Although these guys weren’t my initial favorites. They’ve grown on me. They are genuinely a great group of guys who always look to better our campus. You hear a lot of crap about KA when you get on campus. However, I’ve never had a negative interaction with any KA. The Kappa Alphas of Centenary College are a shining example of the good side of Greek life!

Just kind of seems like it’s a bunch of guys with no real identity. The brotherhood is very poor and there are many cliques within the chapter.

Just a bunch of good guys who know how to be respectful and have a good time. By far the best chapter on campus no doubt

bunch of guys who put out a great public image of inclusivity but really just want you to be rich. Cant work for themselves and have professionals do everything around the house. Known for stripping to the girls on campus for money... not kidding

The only fraternity on campus comprised of primarily straight men. They get a lot hate which is why most girls dont come until after they see the lies arent true and they are good guys. ALso the pledge classes are always bigger in the spring after pnm's see that KA isnt the way that Sig and TKE want you to think it is. The best guys on campus and the only ones who know how to treat a girl and will take you on a date.

Great group of guys on campus. They care about each other and enjoy their brotherhood despite how different they are from each other, which is rare at Centenary. TKE consistently churns our great leaders and accomplished men, and no other fraternity on campus has a bond as strong. Really genuine group of guys, and they aren’t always accepting of people from different backgrounds and lifestyles.
