potential transfer

I'm looking at UCLA and have a high chance of getting in. I went to a 4 year public university as an out of state student, but didn't like it, and went to community college. The sororities at my previous school were filled with incredibly vapid and dumb girls, so I didn't rush. I know that UCLA has smarter students than the previous school I was at, but how "stereotypical" are the sororities? Like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde? And do transfers have a shot during rush?

I feel like everyone, at the very least, cares about their grades. However, some sorority girls at UCLA fit the "stereotype" of being very cliquey and shallow, having a sense of entitlement. Definitely try it out though!
