sorority promotion videos

I don't understand the videos that some houses have released to promote themselves. Is that supposed to make me want to join their house? Not trying to be negative but seeing those makes me weary of the rush process. I don't want to join a house where they blow glitter at each other and then playfully challenge male athletes for fun. Concerned about how superficial this process will be. Advice?
