can panhell publish chapter gpa's and drop rates?

by: pnm

Wish panhell would publish average chapter gpa and drop rates so pnms like myself can have objective background info on the houses. I know nobody can have a 100% retention rate, but if some houses had an abnormally high drop rate pnm's have a right to know about it. This information would be helpful to frame the house in the pnm's mind based on something real not just bs from this website or other gossip. I'm actually very curious to see chapter GPA's. It seems like most other schools publish the info so I'm not sure why I can't find it.

Pi Phi has the highest drop rate by far. Half of their pledge class dropped this year for whatever reason. So does Tri Delt but that's because nobody wants to be in it. I think Gphi and chi o usually have the best GPAs.

I've heard of PiPhi being notorious for having low retention. I just wish panhell would publish the drop rates and gpa so people could see the numbers for themselves.

No they can't rerush if they got initiated. See Amanda Magana's youtube. She was a piphi

All I know is the top 2 GPAs last year were:
1. Chi Omega
2. Delta Gamma

I know it's not much help seeing as there are 10 houses unaccounted for--but those we're the top 2 houses for Winter Quarter 2015. But I mean things could've totally changed for Spring Quarter 2015 but I don't have that information yet.

thank you. that is helpful as I have to admit I hearing them called dabs on this website all the time gave me preconceived notions of dg that are probably not true.

Chi Omega definitely didn't have the highest GPA. The top 3 were:
1. GPhi
2. DG
3. AXO
Girls on here (and in recruitment) like to lie about how high their GPA is, who raised the most for philanthropy, and who won Greek Week.
AXO has raised the most for philanthropy last year.
Not sure what frats/sororitys were on the team, but Team Green won Greek Week this past year.

I know we don't have a way to know the chapter's grades ( we really should) so this is the closest thing I could find on how chapters manage their house to grades to involvement: I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Alpha Gam hadn't been established long enough to be eligible for any Panhel awards last year. From what I've heard their GPA isn't as high as GPhi, but it's above the average for the unaffiliated student body. Their retention is also surprisingly high given that they are a newer house. In general they've done really well to establish themselves, better than I think the rest of us thought they would do.

The entire panhel average GPA is higher than the average unaffiliated UCLA GPA, so that really means nothing. You're not establishing yourselves well; I wouldn't call it an achievement to surpass tridelt.

if you get initiated into any panhell sorority you can't join any other panhell sorority. initiation happens around parents weekend and is the white dress/fountains thing. If they dropped prior to that you can rerush otherwise you are done

you can't rerush or join another sorority if you've been initiated. initiation is usually between november and december. there's supposed like an 8-10 week period between bid day and initiation
