simple tiers

I think people try to make all these tiers more complicated than it has to be. I think it's pretty simple.

Top Tier: ZBT, SigEp, SigChi, SAE

Upper Mid Tier: Lambda, SigNu, Beta, Pikapp

Lower Mid Tier: DTD, SigPi, Theta Xi, Theta Chi

Bottom Tier: Everyone else

This isn't to say that houses in a certain tier are completely equal. For example Lambda is definitely better than PiKapp. But as far as parties and events with sororities go, PiKapp clearly has a lot more in common with Lambda than with SigPi or DTD.

The reason the tiers are so complicated is because girls in "top houses" (Kappa, DG, APhi) only go to a few of the Upper mid houses: Lambda and Beta...they don't really go SigNu (at least not anymore) and they don't go to PiKapp.

I'm a girl in one of those so-called "top houses" and I love Lambda and Beta. Mainly Lambda...they're the most awesome guys I know!

The simplest I've heard is:
ZBT
Anything house beginning with a Sigma
Everyone else
