is it necessary to have a lot of connections in the houses before going through rush.

Speaking from a frat experience, I knew nobody at any house when I rushed. Still got plenty of bids.

helps to know a few brothers, if enough know you it will make it easier to get a bid. that being said its not necessary at all just get yourself out there and talk to people
