At UCLA so many people want to rush that every house has beautys and beasts, Barbies and nerds. It's hard to rank them because there really isn't a consistent trend in the houses, they all have cliques and most girls I know have friends in every house. Greek life is super involved in everything here.

I totally agree.

That isn't accurate or true. UCLA gets approximately 6000 enrolling freshmen each year. Approximately 3000 of them are female. Only 400 of 3000 pledge a house. That's only about 13% of freshman girls. Just google the numbers - it's 13%! How do you get "so many people want to rush"? It's the opposite. Most UCLA students don't want to join something with so much drama and craziness. We're too smart for that.

Totally agree. Being greek is really unpopular here.

And LOL. I don't think Bruinbear even goes to UCLA. She can't even spell correctly. It's "beauties", not "beautys".

anyone else find it ironic that two GDIs are posting negative comments about the greek system on GREEKrank.com? @Bruinbear even took the time to research admission statistics, and @@Bruinbear called the grammar police.

It's not ironic. I dropped my house. Was not a GDI until last year. God forbid that I researched admission statistics to tell the truth. So basically, you're saying that it's better not to research and just spew lies. You're a great representative of the greek system - dishonest and idiotic.

And by the way, you probably don't go to UCLA either, because you said @@Bruinbear called the grammar police. Don't you mean the spelling police?

Going Greek is a personal decision, but one that I have never regretted.

Joining a sorority has shaped my college experience. I?ve met my best friends and my boyfriend, had countless fun experiences and memories, and gotten involved in campus activities I otherwise would not have. (Go figure, both the USAC President and the SAA President are Greek!)

Most importantly, living in was an amazing experience; you have a built-in support system. Someone is always down to go out, stay up late studying, or stay in and watch movies with you. I have friends in other houses, too, and the Greek system makes this huge campus feel smaller. I never walk to class without seeing at least five friendly faces.
