this website is a poor representation of how the greek system at ucla really is. if it were as dramatic and catty as this site makes it out to be, the drop rate would be exceptionally higher. last year was the biggest rush turnout in ucla history- thousands of girls pledged and of those a very small number of them dropped. this site shouldn't be something that gets in the way of a pnm and a happy pledge period/initiation!

ENOUGH with this narcissism bull crap! ucla has an awesome greek system and if girls were as miserable and beat down as you're making them out to be, they wouldn't be paying thousands of dollars a year to continue to be a part of it. all i can say to pnms is to go through rush without any of this information affecting your decision on bid day. once you're a pledge, get a chance to feel out the house and enjoy yourself!

I totally agree. I'm sitting here reading all of these comments about how judgmental this system is, but the people posting forget that THEY are the ones judging something they don't seem to even be a part of! You really can't label the greeks as black or white because it's all grey. It's not for everyone, but I happen to love my house (I pledged in '09), and all of my friends in other houses love it too! Some of the best experiences at UCLA relate to events I participated in for my sorority and it's been such a great experience so far.

Maybe, not mate. I'm not Australian, haha. Btw I'm not trying to sound rude! I totally understand what you're saying. But if you're upset with the way things run in the Greek system here at UCLA then why are you still part of it? There must be something about it you like!
