sorority comments

We have a great Greek System. Every sorority has intelligent women, beautiful women, drama, great sisterhood, etc. Your favorite house will depend a lot on personality and what you want out of college/Greek life.

I think it's crazy that people lament how few hotties are in the top 2-3 sororities, as if that's proof that they suck:
1) Sororities are choosing their members based on the whole package - there are tons of awkward beauties and really amazing plain Janes.
2)I'd say that the great PNMs are CHOOSING to go into any one of 7 of the chapters. Even ADPi and KD get star PNMs who choose them over other sororities. I think it's better for the whole system that we have many great chapters instead of just 2 blockbuster ones.
3) Instead of bashing each other to make our own chapters look better, let's recognize that every chapter has great things to offer UCLA.

Just so happens that the "super star" sororities do have the best personalities that's why PNMs want them. I also agree with not bashing other houses on this site, but logically why would top houses give up the chance of recruiting the best PNMs so lower ranked houses could have them?! It doesn't make sense. Sorry but rush isn't about doing what's best for others but about doing what's best for you.

amen! finally someone who makes since. There is a reason so many potential pnms never rush it's because the small minded people (like below)

I heard ADPi's doing spring recruit because they can still hold even more girls in the house.

the comments on this site are ridiculous.
Alpha Phi and Kappa are tied for first with Theta close behind and DG not. Anyone who insinuates any different is crazy. Alpha Phi and Kappa's numbers were phenomenal this rush.
