necessity of greek life for girls??

So I think rush advice guy (or girl) seems a little bitter and has a jilted point of view. With that said he brings up an interesting point about the necessity of Greek life for girls, socially speaking. As a decent looking female I'm fairly certain that I won't have too much trouble getting into frat parties, (not to say that's the only benefit of Greek life) so what would I miss out on?

Ok I'm rambling but....I'm interested in a chill sisterhood of girls who genuinely like each other and are chill with weed and wearing sweatpants. I like to go out but max three times a week, usually less. I don't wAnt to be apart of a group who spends time together for the sole purpose of putting pics on fb, insta, etc.

With this is mind... What would I gain out of Greek life that I wouldn't get as a GDi? Not stuff like sisterhood as I assume I'd be able to make friends as an independent.
