junior bids?

I'm a new transfer student at UCLA this year, is it normal for upperclassmen to rush at UCLA and what are the chances of a junior getting a bid?

It's normal. Technically your chances are slightly lower cause houses want more freshmen, but I wouldn't worry about it.

A lot of transfers rush every year, although some of the "top houses" and even some mids are less accepting of transfers. The good mid tier houses - Pi Kapp, Sig Nu, Sig Pi all were very welcoming and accepting when I rushed as a transfer. Just don't get bogged down in rankings, find a house where you fit in.
