Why is Greek Life at UCLA so selective?

I am a graduating fourth year, and I am incredibly upset I couldn't get into a single chapter. I rushed three separate times across 15 different chapters, and each and every one of them rejected me. It blows my mind how there is so many chapters at UCLA, yet most people don't get into any of them.

I guess that’s a skill issue. How did you jot even make the bottom tier fraternities? They literally give out bids

I don’t know. Even chapters like delta sig, kappa sigma, and dtd all kicked me out of the rush events even though I didn’t do anything
