Just stop with the tiers
by: seriously
Please remember the next time you want to post about the “bottom tier” or how “terrible” some group is…that organization is someone’s HOME and they cherish it as much as you cherish your organization. Please stop slandering each other. This sort of negative stereotyping and vitriol absolutely played a role in the downfall of a few sororities on campus. Think before you post. There is no need to be cruel.
My heart breaks for the women whose sorority disbanded. Under the roof of that house, they learned together…laughed, cried, stayed up too late, gossiped, grew and evolved. Their sorority, although not as “high tier” as some others, still offered them love, friendship and a cherished home away from home. Women walked away with a wrath of memories, bridesmaids, and friends for life. Their bonds are no weaker than any other house on campus. Probably stronger because of all the adversity of fighting dwindling numbers and their undeserved reputation issues. Even though they closed, nothing will ever destroy the bond they have made in their sisterhood. Not even the cruel people on this campus. Please don't try to tear down any other houses. There is a place for everyone in UCLA's greek life.
