can i get dropped after i pledge?

by: bruin

If a fraternity gives me a bid and I accept, can I randomly get dropped by them? If I do, can I get my money back? can I get into another fraternity after that? Any real help would be really appreciated. I'm thinking of trying but I don't really have anyone to explain all this to me. Thanks.

I had this same question. Can someone answer it please? You seem to spend all your time ranking and won't help potential members learn.

Dudes. wtf? That's why it's called PLEDGING. Pledging allows actives to get to know you better and see if you're really worth being apart of the brother or sisterhood. If the actives feel like you aren't a good fit for their fraternity or sorority after all, then yes, you'll get dropped. And I'm not sure about other fraternities, but you don't get a refund at mine. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't rush. If you're yourself during rush and the brothers or sisters give you a bid, it's because they like you. So if you act differently while you're pledging, they might not like the new you. And if you get dropped because they don't think you'll fit in, then oh well.
