Will I be Discriminated Against Because I'm A Transfe

by: help

I just transferred from a local CC, I wasn't able to afford UCLA for all 4 years so I did a ton of my classes through dual enrollment in HS and now at my CC. I signed up for recruitment because I thought it would help me make friends but I'm worried the girls will look down on me. Does anyone have any experience with this?

All due respect, being in a sorority is really expensive. The dues alone are pricey, let alone the cost of rush. If ucla was already beyond your budget for four years, make sure you know all the costs before going into it

Yes, I understand completely! Myself and my family are in a way better financial position than we were 2-3 years ago when I started and was planning for college. I can afford dues and everything now. Just concerned about if I would be treated differently

No one will look down at you for being a transfer at all. This year is going to be weird though because it won’t be anything like past years and who knows when events will be take place in person again

There is space in every new pledge class for transfers! You will be fine as a transfer
