rushing again as a sophomore or junior?

by:

I’m considering trying to join a sorority as a sophomore. I rushed last year and got a bid, but dropped the sorority after a couple weeks. Will sororities even consider me knowing that I was in a house? And will I have to go back to the house I dropped? Thanks, please reply honestly

To be honest, it was because I didn't click at all with the house I got. I was bidded from the house I didn't pref on the last day and was so sad. I tried to make friends for a few weeks but never felt at home, so I dropped.

Try again, especially if you are a 2nd year. I've heard of girls getting a middle tier bid freshman year, dropping, then going to top tier the next year (like Gphi to Kappa), and bottom tier to middle tier (like ADPi to PiPhi). But also, I know some girls who re rushed and got no bids / bids from lower houses. But i say go for it, it is possible, good luck!

I wouldn't recommend it. the top houses didn't want you the first time I don't think they will the second. Could happen though you never know

Give it a try! As lots of people have said, this year is your best bet at getting a bid no matter what!
