How to Get into a Top House?

I am just looking for some tips on how to get a bid from Alpha Phi, Theta, KKG, or DG. I recently committed to UCLA and have wanted to be in Greek Life for a while. Please don't call me superficial, everyone has an idea of houses that they are interested in before recruitment, and these are the ones that I'm interested in. It's just how a lot of people think before rushing. If you don't agree just don't comment!
I've looked at all of their social medias and the vibes of the girls in those 4 houses stand out to me. Also my cousin goes to UCLA and he told me a little bit about the sororities here. I'm just wondering what the top houses are looking for in a P.N.M.
I posted this a few weeks ago and came back to look for it but it was deleted for some reason(??) so I am asking again. Any truthful and helpful responses would be appreciated.

nobody is joining greek life so you have a better chance at the top 4 than usual

they probably don't want you. they get their pick of girls and then the rest are left for the middle houses to fight for.

If you’re looking for anything unbiased that might actually help you, Greekrank is not the place to be. here’s what I’ll tell you.
1. Don’t make judgements about houses before you meet them. And DONT share these judgements with PNMs or the girls you meet.
2. Be talkative and try to genuinely connect with everyone you meet. Don’t have ulterior motives. We can tell when you’re trying to “play the game” by telling us things you think you want to hear. If you lie or embellish about yourself, we will know.
3. If you pretend to be someone you’re not to fit a stereotype, you will not end up happy.
4. Actual advice: don’t talk about frats or parties or drinking at all with any girl at any point. Biggest mistake in the book.
5. Drink the water and seem like a nice person. Like an actually nice person.
If you’re actually a real person and not a troll, please get off Greekrank and think about what kind of person you want to be before rushing. During rush, see how that image compares with the girls you meet. Judging thousands of girls off of Instagram and Greekrank is stupid and shallow and won’t get you anywhere during rush.

Honestly, you can not really judge it until you're there. I know a ton of girls who rushed wanting those top houses and based their preferences off that and ended up hating their sorority so they dropped. I think the best advice (as annoying as it may sound) it to genuinely see who you have a good conversation and have fun with. Also, when it comes to the first round, there really is no rhyme or reason to how they select the girls since convos are so short so don't be discouraged if you get dropped by one of your top houses in the first round - they have to filter people out somehow. You're going to hear it a lot but truthfully just trust the process. Sororities are a space for you to be social and make friends so pick a sorority you vibe with rather than one you want to look good with, you will be happier in the end :) . And if you end up vibing super well with one of the top houses, then that's great! We would love to have you for sure! Just definitely want to make sure that you pick your home based on what group of girls you could see being your lifelong friends

Lmao at “We will know if you’re faking it”. No they don’t. Rushing is all bout superficiality and faking it. The people rushing you don’t have lie detectors and aren’t FBI agents. Get over yourselves. Fake it till you make it.

the girls who are desired usually go for a top house, though. be attractive and know how to hold a conversation. There's not one specific "look" sororities go for, the top houses take pretty girls of all different types.
