frats & transfers

I’m thinking of transferring to UCLA.
Do frats at UCLA take any (junior) transfers or is it mostly freshmen?

All houses take transfers, but if you’re transferring in as a third year you would really need to have your act together. Your chances of getting into any fraternity that starts with a Σ except for Sigma Pi are probably very slim. But rush anyway, you have nothing to lose.

Good to know what I’m dealing w before I transfer in so I don’t waste all my time at a house that won’t bid me

What Hmm said is not true, at least not based on what I believe. I am in a house that starts with Sigma and is not sig pi. I also rushed this year as a freshman. In every house I went to (including the "top houses", which is a dumb and overrated notion anyway), there were 3rd year transfers who were in their fourth year who seemed very well integrated into the house. They don't make up the majority of the house for obvious reasons, but there's absolutely no bias.

do you even go to ucla? bc your reading comprehension sucks. he said chances are slim, not impossible. everyone knows that top houses don’t take a ton of junior transfers, and i’m from a sigma house.
