confused about kappa

they weirded me out so much today and the girl I talked to was practically begging me to join kappa but they seemed alright the other days. I thought they were a top house but now I’m really confused? Do they like actually just fake being a top house? I can’t sleep because I’m so lost and worried for preference tomorrow, I feel like all I’ve heard is lies about a bunch of the houses :( help
