sad pnm rush is hard

I’ve finally gathered myself after I got my Schedule today. It’s only day 2 and I was so shook with my schedule
I got 1 house back.
I’ve been crying inconsolably
I’m having a hard time with rush is anyone else ? I keep hearing girls say they got back their favorite houses and it makes me feel pathetic

Don’t be sad if you didn’t fit some mold within a 10 minute conversation span. The people you talk to don’t know who you really are, so don’t let this feel like a reflection of your worth or character. There’s tons of other stuff to get involved with at UCLA, and you could always consider rushing again if you see that it’s something you want when you have a better understanding

It makes me feel so much better hearing that girls had the same experience as me. I got 2 houses back today and I’m honestly so upset especially bc all the other girls in my group have a full or almost full schedule. I liked both the houses I went to today but I’m just worried that they’re both going to drop me tomorrow. I’m freaking out

I hope so I do like them since day 1 but I’m scared they will drop me before I make it the next few rounds

But you should realize that their are so many clubs and organizations on campus to get involved with and that just the fact that you were accepted to ucla makes you a pretty amazing person

Please please please don’t let this upset you. I rushed last year did not get any bids either. I was devastated but waited a year rushed again and had 5 favs to choose from. I promise all of you who didn’t think rush would turn out the way you thought.. it will be so much better for you next year. You are all amazing and talented and have so much value. That’s why you are at UCLA. Go forward get involved and know you’ll be exactly where you are supposed be! You are awesome they just don’t know it yet!!

I still have 1 house and I do like them I’m just scared I’ll get cut before it’s all over
And it’s hard to not feel incompetent all the girls in my group got a full schedule or close to it
