bruin day

Going to Bruin Day next week and wondering if it's a good idea to visit all the sorority booths if I plan to do recruitment?
Does it get you on a list or anything? How do you make a good impression without seeming too eagar?
Also, I'm a legacy to a house on campus. Should I tell them that when I stop by their table or nah?

the houses have set ups for bruin day more to answer questions about greek life and the recruitment process in general than they are about their chapters specifically. They’re mainly just there to make greek life seem fun and get more girls to sign up for recruitment in the fall. it doesn’t have a recruitment-y vibe and rules about dirty rushing are very strict also they don’t want to do anything remotely recruitment-y and risk getting in trouble. I remember as an incoming freshman I went around the tables asking about their specific chapters with pnm-style questions and house after house kept emphasizing that although they were happy to answer q’s about their chapter, they were mainly there to talk about Panhellenic and they made sure I knew the event was not in any way affiliated w recruitment. I wouldn’t mention that you’re a legacy until recruitment comes around and tbh I don’t think the sororities invest a ton of energy trying to pick out girls they like when most of the people at bruin day haven’t even committed to ucla yet.
