thats implying they meet standards next year, they don't have much presence at SOE events, sooo its unlikely.

you guys are falling out of the top tier. 1 pledge class last year and it was definitely the worst of the "top" houses. good luck this upcoming rush, you'll definitely need it.

If you want to talk social probation then you also have to talk about ZBT and Sig Chi. I've been at this school for 4 years now, and I can count on my hands the number of quarters that these two houses have been off social probation. SAE, Sig Chi, and ZBT all have faced substantial social probation (meaning at least between a year and a half to two years out of four years). And none of these houses show any signs of stopping the trend. The only house that hasn't to my knowledge is Sig Ep.

zbt and sigma chi will probably be back on SP soon. sae won't ever get off. joining any of the top four houses almost guarantees social pro at some point..these houses go the hardest so obviously they'll get in trouble the most. Sig Ep is affecting by it this upcoming quarter but they'll Just give up middle tier raids most likely so its not that big of a deal I guess

ZBT and Sig chi are both off prob so theyre gonna do great, although sig chi has had a "best friend pre game house" reputation itll be interesting to see how the class turns out
sae is on probation again and hasnt been off probation in years so theyre screwed
sig ep is now on probation too and the only reason they did well last year is cuz all the other houses were in trouble except them.

here are pros and cons of joining the top houses this upcoming fall:
join sigma chi if you want the "best friends of girls" rep. girls go there to steal the alc then head to sae, zbt, sigep. some guys definitely have hot gfs but the parties are dead fast. no social pro though. good brotherhood
zbt gets a lot of girls, but there's no brotherhood. mix of cool athletes with a handful of goobs. don't really care about rules so they find themselves in trouble a lot (stupidly brought the i'm shmacked with them on a raid). they're not on social pro this upcoming fall which is a plus
sigep has partial social pro which probably won't hurt too bad. they have the stoner rep but have the tightest connections with a phi (the top sorority with kappa).
avoid sae. used to be the top house/best place to party but those guys just can't get it together. not long before they're off the row imo.
so if you're a normal/chill guy, check out zbt, sig ep, or sigma chi.

SAE is on adjusted social prob in fall, same as sig chi and zbt last year before they got fully off. The situation is getting better, not worse.
Additionally, SAE probably has the most fun of any of the fraternities when they are on full social probation, so them getting any improvement in their standing is probably a good sign of them having a good year/pledge class

SAE is on adjusted social prob. this is a better situation than they were in the spring. ask anyone on the row who raged the hardest last spring? SAE. which house do all the girls have the most fun? SAE. which fraternity has the most tight knit brotherhood on the row? SAE. what house is a top house at every other college campus you go to visit? SAE, just like Kappa with sororities. 1 yacht party hosted by these sig alphs shut down every other house's attempt at a thursday night party. everyone i knew tried to get invited to their date party last spring. we love this house. if they say this fall is a better situation than last fall then god help us, this is going to be fun. i hope you take easy classes.

yes, a top house for many years. unfortunately, their reign is over thanks to how the greek system is currently run at ucla. they're falling, and falling fast.
