Ok even THEORETICALLY if these houses that moved 2-3 spots up (I’m looking at you theta and piphi) one pledge classes, or even two for that matter don’t change rankings that drastically. You guys still have juniors and seniors that placed you at the rankings you were at previously and a few freshmen won’t change that. Calm down

Let me tell y’all something tho if your house is banking on the seniors then you’re in trouble let me tell you why:
1. “A few freshman” are actually more like 70 freshman
2. Most sorority senior classes have only 20-30 girls left (people drop transfer graduate early become disaffiliated can’t afford etc)
3. Seniors DO NOT go to frat parties and are very minimally involved in the sorority anymore because graduation and career focus
4. Freshman ARE the most involved and excited about anything sorority so they’ll be representing your house more on campus in clubs/sports at parties in philanthropies on the hill etc
5. This recruitment is over and the next big one that happens the seniors WILL NOT be there to help the current freshman will make up the bulk of your interviewers for that rush.

So tell me again why having a fabulous senior class that was ranked high 3-4 years ago makes up for a lackluster freshman pledge class?

Just as I thought. This is what everyone meant by houses relying on OLD REPS. Sorry you got out worked. Start grinding. Old reps/ranks don’t mean anything unless you can maintain that quality

Don’t get me wrong there’s a few pretty girls in this last class of yours, that I’m sure you had ONLY your seniors talk to throughout the entire recruitment process, but it’s not working babes.

And I’m sorry for coming so hard but I don’t appreciate y’all discrediting other houses and calling them fake calling them self rankers only because you can’t accept and still believe ranks are how they were 4+ years ago when yeah your house was top back then. Mad that you ruined it ? Work harder and don’t take it out on others. That’s why I had to call you out you’ve been doing this since the summer. Sorry your fake rumors about theta being “lesbian” didn’t help you. Humble yourself

This is so true- I know historically kd and Adpi are roughly the same, but kd got some seriously gorgeous girls this year, including someone on the gymnastics team, plus their house has much better sisterhood than a lot of the upper houses. I would argue they’ve moved past Adpi and Gphi but that’s just a judgement based on their instagrams and seeing the girls on campus

And for those complaining about houses moving up spots, it’s a ranking, people will move up or DOWN as well. Sometimes one house benefits from another house moving down in the rank. If nobody moved we’d have the same rankings every year and I suspect that’s why so much hate and claims of self ranks just because you older people aren’t seeing the ranks from your freshman year. Get over it. Things change. Not to call out kappa but we all know they did bad last year and bad again this year and with the seniors (arguably their best girls left) leaving this year that leaves them in a bad situation. Imagine their rush next year compromise of two bad pledge classes and their current juniors. This is how things change so calm down and take it in. If you don’t agree fine but you old folks need to take into consideration what the incoming Greek generations think and value or you’ll end up struggling like kappa.
