spring rush cob

Ok so usually it’ll happen winter not spring
And not all houses participate
In fact very few houses participate and it changes every year
Although it’s uusallt bottom houses sometimes lower middle houses who participate
The only ones who do this are ones who have so many members/pledges drop that they are not at quota (set by Panhellenic) or they didn’t meet quota during rush of enough PNMs.
So naturally it’s not a good sign if you have to do cob/.
Also it isn’t another rush situation where anyone signs up. They only invite girls to participate who know someone already in the house Usually.
You can’t count on it. We don’t know who if anyone will have to do it. There is usually a small amount of spots when they do (10 or less) and it’s not open to the public you have to be invited to participate

Because it’s kind of embarrassing that you can’t meet quota/have a bad retention rate

yes aphi had to do a secret cob not because they couldn’t reach quota during rush but because so many girls dropped. if you want to cob I wouldn’t bet on aphi this year though since it’s secret and it doesn’t happen every year. also if you got dropped by them in the fall they’re not going to want you in the spring
