Dg seems to be everyone’s FAVORITE by far so down to earth gorgeous girls fun Instagram and diverse stuff we actually care about

This is where you kind of lose me because while I do think dg is a great house, I wouldn’t say they stand out because they have “gorgeous” girls. Yes, they have some pretty girls but the main reason they stand out is for their diversity, involvement & sisterhood.

If you guys are actually freshman, then this is interesting. If not, then this is definitely a DG girl. Either way, as a junior, I disagree. DG is good and maybe on the rise, but not 1. Kappa, Theta, and Alpha Phi dominate the top. Theta's will say they are 1, Alpha Phi's will say they are 1, and Kappa will say they are 1. I personally think it goes Theta, Kappa, Alpha Phi. Everyone knows it switches around. DG will continue to fight to get up there, and I think they are an awesome number 4 with lots to offer. But for girls who want to be in a 'top' house, DG is not it. That's all.

And I saw the other post I happen to agree with her. A lot of us do. You stick with your antiquated rankings that you accepted from years past because you’re scared to formulate your own decisions. Idiot upperclassmen, millennials: the follower generation.

you're clearly not a freshman. freshmen who are this concerned about house rankings would never try to manipulate them before rush. they still have a full spread of options and theres no upside to going against the accepted norm. in fact, its incredibly risky to try to sell the idea of new rankings and join a house that isnt traditionally considered number 1 or 2 simply because they got warm fuzzies about a lower house before rush. nobody buys the argument that youre just sharing your opinion to share it. you clearly intend to manipulate.
the only people invested enough to manipulate rankings are current members who have something to gain by manipulating ranks. based on the structure of these new ranks, you are either a dg trying to unseat kkg and aphi or a pi phi trying to make pi phi look like a top house. nobody buys it. stop playing this game

Not necessarily. There could be a lot of reasons that she has established favorites but it's just not in her best interest to get too attached as she's likely going to be surprised by how superficial the rush process is.
