sorority rush question

Hey! You can totally go out during rush. The current sorority and fraternity members CANNOT go out and they are crazy strict about that, so you won't see ANYONE from greek life out. Some UCLA clubs and sports teams use zero week as their time to shine because of this. You can go out, but small talk with 537363836 girls in a row when its 100 degrees out for 8 hours while hung over is the WORST (I went out one night during rush and then stopped after one bad day). It's also a weird first impression of UCLA social life since sorority and fraternity members aren't allowed to be there. But its your first week of college, go out and meet people if you want, its not going to affect what house you get in unless all you can talk about the next day is the 47 shots you took, or if you do something so crazy girls hear about it and are nervous that you might get their house in trouble down the road if they give you a bid
