advice for rush?

My best tip is to really get along with a couple of brothers and also have most or all of them at least recognize you in a good way. And also, you should really look at fit instead of rankings.

That’s not really a good way to think about it. The top houses are extremely hard to get into. But don’t be fooled the other houses you listed, Sig nu, Beta, Phi Psi, and you can throw lambda in there (cause they’re not too no matter how much they say on Greek rank) are also tough to get into. Those houses attract very similar guys as the top ones just there wasn’t room for them. Theta Xi and Sig pi are easy. They’ll shotgun a bid to everyone who walks through the door. They might seem cool at first but hang for a week or ask girls in decent houses and you’ll see they’re pretty whack. Don’t go for rank. Go for fit.

LOL Phi Psi is not harder to get a bid from compared to Lambda. But yeah I agree with the user above that it isn't too difficult to get a bid from Theta Xi or Sig Pi. But, as a warning, I know kids who didn't even up getting bids from Theta Chi lol so go with fit and be happy with where you end up.

Just be cool and authentic person during rush. Talk about things that make you standout/more unique. I've had a million conversations with kids about how they played football in high school, that doesn't do anything for you. Beta, Sig Nu, and Lambda are difficult to get bids from, and I'm not sure if a house like Sig Pi is worth joining, as I've literally haven't heard of them until this website. Be confident too, if you're cool these houses will want you as much as you want them.
